Legal Finance Assistant / £22,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience) / Herne Bay / Permanent
My client, a leader in their market, are looking to recruit a Legal Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will either have a finance or legal background and will be excited about joining a successful organisation in their finance department.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with processing petty cash reconciliations across three branches
Assisting with purchase ledger duties
Assist the management team with month/year end queries
Assist with credit control duties when necessary
Processing payment runs via CHAPS
VAT administration and returns
Support with general finance related queries
General administration tasks, such as filing, photocopying and other general activitiesEssential Skillset
A background in a similar finance position or a legal background looking to go into the accountancy side
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Knowledge of solicitors accounting rules is advantageous
IT literate including Microsoft Office programs
Attention to accuracy and detailPackage
£22,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Herne Bay – office based (may be some flexibility to wfh on ad hoc days)
