Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor required on either a permanent or contract basis for a Macclesfield based client.

This position will involve working on a diverse portfolio of construction projects, valued up to £20 million, delivered using the NEC form of contract.

The role is based in Macclesfield, requiring attendance four days a week until integration with the team is achieved. Flexible working hours can be accommodated.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion, working both as part of a team and individually
Prepare cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents, and supply chain payment assessments
Provide construction phase contract Quantity Surveying services including change management, contractor payment applications, and final accounts
Prepare data and reports to timescales in a format required by line management and clients
Work collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client delivery
Develop client relationships and provide an outstanding level of service delivery on a project basis, in conjunction with senior management

Job Requirements:

BSc in Quantity Surveying
Conversant in pre and post contract quantity surveying duties
NEC contract experience
Understanding of applicable methods of measurement
Ability to work with the minimum of supervision and on own initiative
Ability to communicate at all levels
