Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £45,000 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to join an industry leading food production line company. To help maximise the performance of customers’ equipment and contribute to our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, create manufacturing drawing packs (BOMs, laser profiles, works orders)

* Conduct Design Risk Assessments and create 3D block layouts

* Use AutoCAD to create and modify 2D drawings

* Participate in design reviews, site visits, and customer liaison for approvals

* Work with project teams to meet design timelines and standards.

What We’re Looking For:

* Degree in engineering or relevant industry experience

* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D)

* Experience in design engineering within a fabrication environment

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

* Excellent communication skills and solution-focused mindset
