Sheet Metal Supervisor

Salary: £42,500

Summary:
We're looking for a dynamic Sheet Metal Supervisor to lead a high-volume production team in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, cost control, and delivery targets are met, while fostering a collaborative and motivated team. By driving continuous improvement and operational excellence, you'll help them achieve and exceed business goals.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities as Sheet Metal Supervisor:

Ensure the safe and efficient execution of daily production plans, adhering to safety protocols and minimizing risks to people, machinery, and property.

Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards, with strict adherence to manufacturing instructions.

Oversee and maintain a robust training program, ensuring all team members are properly certified and skilled for their roles.

Plan and prioritise workloads to align with business needs, adjusting resources as necessary to meet demand.

Monitor attendance, manage performance, and ensure all absence policies are adhered to.

Skills & Experience of Sheet Metal Supervisor:

Proven experience in leading teams in a production environment, ideally in aerospace or automotive sectors.

Recognised supervisory qualification preferred.

Proficient with IT systems, ideally with experience in Quality Management Systems.

Strong background in sheet metal or precision machining with an understanding of close-tolerance manufacturing.
