MIG / TIG Welder
£16.83ph + Overtime rates

12 months fixed term contract

Metalis are working with an established manufacturer who are looking for a MIG / TIG Welder to join the team in Hope Valley.

Duties & Responsibilities:

MIG / TIG Welding
Fabrication duties
Cutting materials using the CNC guillotine machine working with mild and stainless steel between 0.7 and 5mm thickness
Operating band saws and notching machines
Deburring using notches and linishing belts
Working from engineering drawings & specifications
Adhering to strict health & safety deadlinesThe successful candidate will have:

Welding and Fabrication experience (Essential)
Apprentice trained WSelder (ideal)
Experience operating a Guillotine machine and a variety of other workshop machinery
Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing companyShifts & Salary:

£16.83ph + overtime rates
Monday - Friday, 37.50 Hours per week
Mon-Thurs 8.00 - 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday)
