Job Title: Mental Health Assistant

Location: Bedford

Salary: £460-£500 per week - This figure includes holiday pay

Qualification: Psychology and Criminology Graduate

Contract: 5 days a week, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

As a Clinical Teaching Assistant, you will engage with challenging and sometimes anti-social situations, helping you build a strong foundation of experience. Starting soon, you'll focus on de-escalation techniques and effective communication strategies.

Role Requirements:

Experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential
Psychology and Criminology Graduate
Caring individual with energy, drive, and enthusiasm
Team player who can collaborate with teaching and support staff
Willingness to support a pupil with personal care if necessary
Initiative to support learning effectively
Passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needsWhat You'll Need:

Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Eligibility to work in the UK
Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification at level 2 or above
Local commute to Bedford and surrounding areas
A passion to work in the education and Training sector
