About the role
Dates: For course dates between start of July and end of July 2025
Pay: £32 to £55 per hour, equivalent to minimum £480 per course. Pay bands depend on subject knowledge and relevant teaching experience. Accommodation and travel expenses not covered.
Working pattern: 12 hrs of lessons per 1-week course. Preparation allowance additional to contact time.
Main duties
Plan your own course - Use your teaching expertise to prepare engaging topics and teaching materials tailored to a class of up to 15 students aged 12-14.
Interactive teaching - Guide students through a positive, yet challenging learning journey, helping them achieve their potential.
Classroom management - Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where good behaviour and focus contribute to a productive learning experience for all.
Provide feedback - Support students’ academic development through constructive feedback to develop their skills, and personalised reports at the end of the course.
Complete an induction - Familiarise yourself with company procedures, logistical requirements and safeguarding in advance.
Support students: Record attendance and stay attentive to student welfare and safeguarding, reporting any concerns to keep students safe.
