My client are a highly respected Tier 1 Main Contractor, based in Central London, they currently have an exciting new project, a highly prestigous client, and are now looking for an Operations Director (Surveying) to join the team.

You will manage several projects between £5m - £40m and report directly into the Commercial Director at Board Level.

Operations Director (Surveying) Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract enquiries and tender reviews.
Manage valuations, project cashflows and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records
Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor admin.
Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximising opportunities.
Lead and manage junior staff, ensuring workload targets, deadlines and commercial tasks are met and updated monthly.Operations Director (Surveying) skills required:

Minimum 5 years’ Director level experience
Clear understanding of the different forms of contracts
Degree qualification (Construction Management or similar)
Tier 1 Main Contractor background - preferred
The ability to work collaboratively and part of a team.
