My client has works on high profile engineering projects across the UK and they require an experienced Document Controller to join their business on a permanent basis working from there offices in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
My client has worked on engineering projects for the last 20 + years and they have an established team in place working from their head office in Newcastle.
Due to continued growth, they seek an experienced Document Controller who is keen to work in a friendly and vibrant office atmosphere, and someone who wishes to learn and progress into a more senior role.
Accountabilities:
* Manage and maintain project document control system (EDMS)
* Distribution of documents to relevant managers/ project teams
* Knowledge and understanding of engineering and design documentation types and numbering
Requirements:
* Proven experience in the use of electronic document management systems (EDMS)
* Previous experience in Construction or Engineering
* IT skills covering Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
* Motivated self-starter, ability to work on own initiative
* Methodical, organized and good attention to detail
* Good problem Solving and analytical skills
The salary will be dependent on the individuals’ level of experience and is not set in stone.
Starting salary - £35 - 36,000 + plus a very robust benefits package which gets reviewed.
