Our Devizes based client is currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods.

This role requires physical picking and packing of ingredients, some of which may weigh up to 25 kg. it is crucial for the candidate to have a good attention to detail and have a positive attitude. Working in a fast-paced environment the successful candidate will need to work effectively with team members.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Pay: £12.00ph
Expected hours: 44 per week
Shift Pattern: 4on4off

Key Duties:

Pick and pack ingredients, occasionally lifting items up to 25 kg.
Stock shelves and maintain organised inventory within the warehouse.
Handle materials with care, using proper lifting techniques to ensure safety.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipment accuracy against documentation.
Build pallets and prepare items for dispatch in line with company standards. Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and locations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory control.
* Experience in loading and unloading goods efficiently.
* Strong knowledge of stock management and materials handling.
* Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
* Experience with Stevens systems is advantageous but not essential.
