Planning Officer
Salary: £30 - £40 per hour (umbrella)
Location: South London

A prominent South London local authority is seeking a dedicated Planning Officer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the development of the local area by handling a diverse caseload of planning applications and appeals.

Role Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of primarily straightforward planning applications and appeals, spanning a variety of development types.
Handle a significant number of householder applications as allocated.
Provide written representations for appeal cases.
Requirements:

Extensive experience dealing with a wide range of planning applications, including minor developments.
Proven expertise in providing written representations for appeal cases.
Comprehensive understanding of Local Authority Planning processes and regulations.
A minimum of two years of experience in development management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
