Provide tailored one-on-one and group support to students with ASD, MLD, and behavioural needs, helping them engage in learning and development activities.
Work closely with the teaching staff to implement personalised learning plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
Manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively, supporting students in regulating their emotions and interactions with others.
Foster a positive, nurturing environment where students feel safe and supported, ensuring they can thrive both academically and socially.
Support students with emotional regulation and social development, understanding that some students may display physical behaviours when in distress.We're Looking For in an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with ASD, MLD, and behavioural challenges.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach, with strong resilience to support students with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
