Job Title: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Belper, Derbyshire (DE56)

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: £83.39 - £90 per day

The successful applicant will be supporting students with special educational needs. They will monitor and identify their specific learning needs and provide feedback to the teacher as well as helping prepare student reports and assessments and create personal development plans.

Their daily responsibilities will include looking after children's physical, social and emotional welfare and creating an interesting and engaging environment. They will also work with professionals such as speech and language therapists.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (required)
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Patience and an open minded approach
Good understanding of SEMH and EAL
Driving License (preferred)
