Stores Person, Temp to Perm position, £13.00 an hour

Working hours are Mon-Thurs 7:45am-4:30pm, Fri 7:45am - 12:45pm

This role involves ensuring the effective supply of materials and consumables from goods-in receiving to issuing to relevant departments, while maintaining effective stock control. You will also be responsible for delivering complete kitted jobs to assembly, ensuring smooth operations and accuracy in stock management.

Key Responsibilities

Daily kitting of material for the shop floor
Allocation of spare parts to sales orders for shipping
Booking items to stock from Goods In and Inspection
Meet and greet delivery drivers, signing for deliveries
Resolve material consumption errors or queries
Conduct regular stock takes and update ERP system
Manage consumables and date-sensitive items
Work with purchasing to manage sub-contract jobs with cutting
Control lot numbers and stock rotation
Operate the saw for cutting raw bar material for jobs
Issue T-cards to maintain machine shop operations
Provide cross-department cover and maintain training matrix
Wear personal protective equipment and complete health and safety training
Inform Purchasing of any stock items needing re-ordering
