Parts Advisor – Newton Abbot
Salary: £13.77hr
Overtime paid at 1.5 X
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:00pm, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and 11:00 am to 8:00 pm plus a Saturday morning, all shift times are operated on a rota basis.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join a well-established team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with a strong customer service focus and experience in parts handling within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and source parts for both front and back counters

* Check off stock, accurately put items away, and maintain a tidy stock area

* Pick orders and place them on the delivery shelves

* Process supplier returns and customer credits

* Handle warranty returns

* Conduct perpetual stock checking

* Stock receipting using DMS systems

Skills & Experience Required:

* Excellent customer service and administrative skills

* Friendly, proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure

* Some knowledge of the motor vehicle sector or automotive trade

* Experience working to performance targets

* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous

* Familiarity with Autoline, Kerridge, or Keyloop is beneficial

* Willingness to work the late shift (11:00 am – 8:00 pm), potentially extending to 10:00 pm in the future

Hours of Work:

* Monday to Friday: Rotating shifts of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and 11:00 am – 8:00 pm (potentially moving to 10:00 pm in the future)

* Saturday mornings on a rota basis

* 45 hours per week (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
