We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a high-profile Healthcare Project based in Birmingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale construction project in the healthcare sector. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in mechanical supervision within the commercial and healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the mechanical installation and commissioning works on site.
*
Oversee the installation of large-bore welded pipe systems (up to 12 inches) and ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
*
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
*
Monitor and manage daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, cost management, and quality standards.
*
Lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers and tradespeople, providing guidance and support.
*
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
*
Report to project management and clients on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
*
Mechanical Engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or equivalent).
*
SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.
*
Proven experience working in a supervisory role within the commercial and healthcare sectors.
*
Strong experience with the installation and welding of large-bore pipe systems (12 inches).
*
Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, construction processes, and site safety regulations.
*
Ability to manage teams, communicate effectively, and resolve issues proactively.
Desirable Skills:

Experience working on healthcare sector projects.
*
Experience in managing and overseeing complex mechanical installations.
