Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant

Location: Barnsley

Hours: 8.30 - 3.30

Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Job Overview:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in children's lives? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will support teachers and assist in providing a high-quality, engaging learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons, engaging with small groups, and one-to-one work with children.

* Help create a nurturing and safe learning environment.

* Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.

* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging them to participate and build confidence.

* Support children’s emotional and social development.

* Monitor and report on children’s progress to teachers.

About You:

* A passion for working with children and helping them thrive.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

* Ability to follow guidance from teachers and work as part of a team.

* A flexible, proactive approach with a positive attitude towards learning.

* Prior experience working with children (such as in a school, nursery, or youth setting) is beneficial but not essential.
