Active Recruitment are working closely with an Outstanding Mainstream Secondary School in Havering, Essex who are seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join their team in September 2025 on a permanent basis. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Teacher of Science who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available.

Duties and Expectations of the Science Teacher in Basildon, Essex

* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons across Key stage 3 and 4 Science.

* Work closely with fellow teaching staff and SLT within the school to deliver a high standard of Education to it’s pupils.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

* Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students in the study of biology, chemistry, and physics.
