Bookkeeper
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in St Albans, for an experienced Bookkeeper to join on a full-time, permanent basis.
Joining this established firm, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions and records of clients.
The client are offering hybrid working and a competitive salary.
Previous Bookkeeping experience is essential with candidates needing proven knowledge using Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
About the role:
* Manage client VAT returns
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
* Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for multiple clients for management review
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
Hours and Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* Hybrid working opportunities after successful probationary period
* Salary up to £35,000 - dependent on experience
* Permanent
About you:
* Proven Bookkeeping experience within an accounting practice environment
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* Accounts payable knowledge
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to meet deadlines and targets
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
