We are working with an alternative provision in Blackburn who are looking to secure the services of an outstanding learning support assistant. This particular role is to support the needs of students with SEN, who can become disengaged from learning quite quickly. You must be comfortable with EBD/SEMH. To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient and overall, have a good sense of humour.
This position is to start in November and be an an ongoing role.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree educated with a good classification
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
Recent behaviour management training completed (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
