Architectural Technician

A well-established regional contractor based in Kent are currently looking for a Architectural Technician to join their team. They have a strong reputation for delivering projects across residential, education, health care and commercial.

About the role of Architectural Technician

You will see yourself reporting to the Design Manager, joining a close-knit team you will be working closely with the design team, project manager and site teams to deliver projects from feasibility to handover. You will play a key role in delivering technical drawings, coordinating designs and ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Responsibilities for Architectural Technician

Prepare accurate and detailed architectural drawings
Develop technical solutions for various projects
Ensure designs comply with current building regulations
Conduct site visits to assess design implementation and resolve technical issues
Assist in planning applications and liaise with local authorities
Manage and update project documentation

Requirements

Degree / HNC in Architectural technology or related discipline
Knowledge of Adobe in Design
Strong knowledge of UK building Regulations and construction methods
Previous experience working within a main contractor or architectural practice
Excellent communication skills

What we offer:

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
