About the role:

SEN TA: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where your expertise will directly impact the lives of young learners. You will work closely with students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting

.• Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEMH interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

.• A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children.

• Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake additional training.

Key Responsibilities: As an SEN TA, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEMH needs

.• Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour management.

• Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to adapt lesson plans and resources

.• Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.• Promote inclusion, helping students engage fully with the school curriculum and activities.
