CAD Technician

Location: Biggleswade

Salary: £32,000 to £35,000

An opportunity has opened for a CAD Technician to join a manufacturing company based in Biggleswade. The ideal candidate will have a background working as a Draughtsperson, CAD Technician or similar and will have experience of 2D and 3D design in Solidworks.

What they’re looking for:

* Experience as a CAD Technician, CAD Designer, Draughtsperson or similar

* 2D and 3D CAD design experience

* Solidworks design experience

* Background working with sheet metal ideally

* Any CNC machinery experience is a bonus

* Documentation skills

CAD Technician Responsibilities:

* Working with the design teams on new and existing drawings

* Using Solidworks to produce drawings to specifications

* Liaising with manufacturing and clients to ensure designs meet the material lists

* Communicating with the factory to ensure CNC machines have designs programmed in

* 2D and 3D design

* Ensuring documentation is up to date and correct

* Liaising with production and manufacturing teams
