Machine Operator 
Location: Wakefield, Liversedge
Salary: £46,000 + OTE £55,000-£60,000 
Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)
Pension: 7.5% employer contribution

Are you an experienced Machine Operator with at least 5 years in the industry? We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our team, working on our slitting machines at the Wakefield site. This role offers excellent earning potential, with OTE up to £60,000 and a generous 7.5% pension contribution.

Role Overview
In this position, you’ll ensure production targets and quality standards are met, performing product changeovers, managing smooth start-ups and shutdowns, and troubleshooting as needed. With a focus on safety and quality, you’ll actively monitor and improve production processes and support your team in achieving optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

Commit to and uphold OC safety protocols, reporting and acting on incidents promptly.
Follow quality procedures, using tools such as AWAQS to meet customer standards.
React to any deviations in specifications, escalating as required.
Operate in line with SOPs, CILs, and continuous improvement practices.
Maintain a well-organized workspace in line with 5S standards for smooth shift transitions.
Communicate effectively across all shifts and with support teams to ensure seamless production.
Provide training and support to colleagues and visitors as needed.
