The role involves;
Key Responsibilities:
·Client Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, secure new projects, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
·Proposal Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of fee proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal priorities.
·Project Management: Oversee the execution of work projects, managing timelines, resources, and finances to deliver results that meet or exceed client expectations.
·Financial Control: Monitor and control project finances to ensure profitability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
·Collaboration: Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate efforts, share insights, and optimize project outcomes.
·Continuous Learning: Stay updated on relevant technical, legal, and policy changes to ensure the delivery of informed and up-to-date advice.
·Team Development: Mentor and develop colleagues within the project team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
·Problem Solving: Utilize personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to complex challenges.
·Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and stay abreast of industry best practices.
·Quality Guidance: Provide guidance on quality matters and technical issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs.

About You:
As an experienced Transport Planner, you possess a comprehensive understanding of planning and transport policy, coupled with a track record of delivering exceptional results for clients. Ideally, you have:
·A degree in a related subject, with significant experience in preparing Transport Statements and Assessments.
·Proficiency in setting up and running PICADY's and ARCADYS (Junctions 9), as well as experience in using LINSIG and interpreting outputs.
·Understanding of micro-simulation principles and proficiency in strategic modelling.
·Knowledge of design standards such as DMRB and MfS, and their application.
·Experience in developing access, parking, and sustainable transport strategies.
·Familiarity with S106 agreements, S278 agreements, and Traffic Regulation Orders.
·Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex workloads effectively.
·Self-motivation and initiative, with the capability to work autonomously.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
