Job Description: Water Hygiene Technician

Location: Midlands (within 60 minutes’ drive of Burton)

Preferred Areas: Burton, Derby, Nottingham, or Leicester (ideally close to the M1 corridor)

Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum

Benefits: 25 days holiday plus standard company benefits

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our team, serving the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in L8 compliance monitoring, tank cleaning and disinfection works, and TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) servicing. This role will require candidates to be located within a 60-minute drive of our Burton office (DE14 3NT) to ensure effective coverage and response times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine L8 compliance monitoring and inspection

* Perform tank cleaning and disinfection tasks

* Carry out TMV servicing and maintenance

* Maintain accurate records and reports of completed work

* Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety protocols

Requirements:

* Proven experience in water hygiene activities, including L8 compliance

* Competency in tank cleaning, disinfection, and TMV servicing

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Full UK driving license

* Ability to work independently and within a team
