Location; Central London, City

Our client is a Mechanical and Electrical Installation Contractor working within the Construction Industry. They employ about 140 people and are based over several floors of an office building in Central London where they have been based for many years. They are successful and professional.

Due to continued success, they would like to recruit a Trainee Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their busy team in their Central London Office. Visits to Construction sites in Central London will be necessary occasionally.

The role involves supporting the tendering team to prepare bids based on project specifications, and controlling projects commercially once they are ongoing.

Person:

* Ideally, you will be a school leaver with good GCSEs and possibly A levels, especially in Maths.

* You will be keen to work within construction.

* You will be a hard worker.

* You will have good 'soft skills' i.e. be good with people.

* You will live within easy commuting distance of Central London.

There is a very good career path (with training) for the right individual and this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career within construction Project financial Management.
