With our Head Office and Laboratory in St Ives, Cornwall, we specialise in photography services for schools, universities, and organizations across various sectors.
We are expanding our Software Development Team to support new initiatives in e-commerce, automated ordering, and system optimisation, while also focusing on R&D to stay ahead in the photography and imaging industry.

The Software Developer role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join our team. You will work on migrating legacy systems, building modern solutions, and supporting innovative projects to simplify and enhance our technology stack.
This role offers a mix of core development and exploratory R&D projects.
As our Software Developer you will be specifically responsible for:
* Designing and developing secure, modern systems using C# .NET and JavaScript for web, APIs, and desktop applications.
* Maintaining and optimising relational databases in Microsoft SQL Server.
* Supporting and migrating legacy systems built on technologies such as Vue, Quasar, PHP, jQuery, Node.js, VB, and ASPX.
* Transition from Google Firebase/NoSQL to structured SQL databases.
* Collaborating with internal teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize processes.
* Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in bespoke software development environments.
* Strong skills in both independent and collaborative project work.
* Knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies, including modern frameworks and secure system design.
* Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Services, Firebase Functions, and Firestore.
* Willingness to work onsite in our lab environment, engaging with staff to optimise workflows.
* A degree is not required, but hands-on experience and a proactive attitude are essential.
