The Head of Enterprise Systems Change role:
We seek a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our new Enterprise Systems Change team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the creation, integration, and maintenance of processes within operational critical enterprise applications, ensuring they support the institute’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, leadership qualities, and a comprehensive understanding of enterprise application development processes, coupled with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Responsibilities of our Head of Enterprise Systems Change:
Your duties will include:
Team Leadership and Management
Lead and mentor a team of developers and integration specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Application Development
Oversee the development of enterprise applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
Application Integration
Design and implement integration solutions that connect various enterprise applications and systems.
Communication
Ensure all stakeholders are informed of relevant improvements and other change activities.
Governance and Risk Management
Review, enhance and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data security and compliance requirements are met while ensuring operational efficiency remains a key objective.
Project Management and Delivery
Manage application development and integration projects from inception to completion, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in application development and integration.
Skills and experience we are looking for in our Head of Enterprise Systems Change:
Proven experience in leading application development and integration teams within an enterprise environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
In-depth familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
Strong technical expertise in software development languages, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g. Agile, DevOps, SAFe).
Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
Solid understanding of application security best practices and compliance requirements.
