Clinical Account Manager
£40,000 to £45,000 + £2400 car allowance
Homebased with regular travel to sites throughout the UK.

The role of the Clinical Account Manager:
As our Clinical Account Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with our purchasers. You will identify opportunities for growth and work closely with Business Development colleagues to ensure our high standards are consistently met.
The Clinical Account Manager duties will include:
• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and Local Authorities (LAs).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for each of our purchasers.• Understand commissioner needs and identify proactive solutions.
• Address concerns and collaborate with operations teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Manage commissioner expectations by proactively addressing potential issues.
• Prepare regular account performance reports for senior management.
• Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide recommendations based on industry knowledge.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Complete clinically informed assessments as part of new business development.
• Liaise with both senior management and operational teams to implement improvement strategies.
Essential skills & experience of the Clinical Account Manager::
• Clinical qualifications and current registration with the appropriate awarding body, including: - Registered Nurse (Mental Health) - Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) - Social Worker - Speech and Language Therapist - Occupational Therapist.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of the housing sector
• Strong time-management skills
• Effective negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to influence others, including at a senior level
• Effective team player who is enthusiastic and motivated
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on finding solutions to challenges
• Proficient in IT programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Leadership skills with a sense of commercial awareness
• Excellent organisational skills
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
• Willingness to travel for assessments and attend commissioner meetings – National travel will be required.
Desirable skills & experience of the Clinical Account Manager:
• Qualifications in business administration, Healthcare or a related field
• Experience in account management
• Knowledge of recruitment requirements set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
• A genuine interest in working with vulnerable adults in a community setting.
• Experience in assessing and supporting individuals with various complex needs, including mental health issues, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries (ABI), complex needs, autism, and forensic backgrounds.
• Understanding of continuing healthcare and the transition process for individuals moving from hospital or residential settings into the community, along with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to addressing related challenges.
• Applied knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Community Treatment Orders (CTOs), the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and the principles of Best Interest Decision making.
