Our client, a prestigious prime residential main contractor based in Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team. This company is renowned for delivering luxury, high-end residential projects and is looking for a professional who can uphold their commitment to quality and excellence.
Role Overview:
As a Site Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing prime residential projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Lead and manage the entire construction process on-site, ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on schedule and within the allocated budget.
* Site Supervision: Coordinate and oversee daily site operations, including the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
* Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality control, conducting regular inspections and ensuring all work meets the client’s exacting standards.
* Health & Safety: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe working environment for all site personnel.
* Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process promptly and efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager within prime residential construction, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
* Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations, particularly in the context of luxury residential projects.
* Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
* Health & Safety: A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
