Package Details: £70,000 - £75,000 Per Annum + Bonus + Excellent Company Benefits (Stated Below)
Contracted Hours: Permanent, 40 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday – Flexible Working Hours)

Fast Pace Recruitment Services are working with a valued client who are currently looking to recruit a Care Home Manager. We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Care Home Manager to join a forward-thinking and innovative care home operator. You will oversee a care home consisting of circa 85 beds which supports elderly residents with their medical, emotional & social needs and play a key role with the ongoing development of the care home and quality of care provided whilst ensuring all regulatory care standards are exceeded.

The Role:
You will undertake a range of services which include the following:

* Responsible for setting & embedding the highest standards of care to ensure the Care Home achieves the best possible grades from the Care Inspectorate.

* Responsible for the day-to-day marketing of the Care Home to ensure full occupancy levels are reached with a waiting list in place.

* Responsible for managing the Care Homes P&L to maximise revenue, reduce agency spend and to drive efficiency & productivity.

* Lead and support a team consisting of Deputy Home Manager, Unit Nurse Managers, Nurses, Carers and Domestic/Administration staff, bringing out the best in your colleagues.

* Train, support and develop a team of staff, helping them develop and thrive in their roles.

* Provide support to Area/Regional Manager ensuring quality standards and operations remain consistent.

* Collaborate closely with residents, their families and healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans that are unique to each resident.

* Observe daily interactions and conditions, ensuring all care documentation is precise, legal, and easily understood by the team.

* Start each shift by organizing and guiding your team, ensuring everyone knows their role in delivering top-notch care.

* Oversee shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.

* Perform routine observations and manage specific health needs, always with an eye on detail and safety.

* Foster strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.

* Support residents in daily activities, encouraging autonomy while providing hands-on assistance as needed.

* Be responsive to team input, ensuring resident health and well-being are always prioritised.

* Uphold the dignity and individuality of every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.

* Facilitate social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.

* Maintain a vigilant eye on health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for all.

* Be prepared to act swiftly in emergencies, utilizing the on-call system and reflective practices to continually improve our care.

Requirements:

* Registered Nurse qualification. (Must have valid NMC pin with no restrictions or conditions)

* Minimum 2 years experience as a Care Home/Deputy Home Manager with in-depth knowledge of regulatory care standards.

* Able to work as an independent & autonomous Care Home Manager.

* A good team player who possesses effective communication & relationship building skills.

* A pro-active & motivated person who endeavours all types of challenges.

* A valid Full UK driving licence. (Desired but not essential)

Package Details:

* Salary £70,000 - £75,000 per annum.

* Performance bonus.

* 25 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays.

* Company sick pay policy.

* Company pension scheme.

* NMC & PVG registration fees paid.
