hat you'll do:

Support the Chief Engineering surveyor and or the Engineering survey manager in co-ordination across all technical work streams, during each stage of a project from PQQ through to construction. Technical work streams may include but are not limited to, all engineering disciplines, design management, digital engineering, sustainability, engineering surveying, asset management and industrialisation.

If managing a team, ensure that they have the correct training/knowledge in how to work safely.
Develop their engineering survey teams to meet project needs.
Ensure that the project have the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements.
Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence.

What you'll bring to the role:

Degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying, or ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying and previous experience as an Senior Engineering Surveyor.
Extensive awareness of appropriate survey instruments, software and working methods.
Full professional Membership of CICES or equivalent body
People management skills.
Commercial acumen
