Our client is an independent award winning commercial insurance broker.
Due to growth and looking to build on thiis, they are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their friendly family orientated team based in Rawtenstall.
They are looking for an individual who is passionate about contributing to the business growth plans and being a valued member of the team with opportunities to have input on day to day matters and drive the team forward.
As an integral member of the team, your responsibilities will include:-
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers
-- Arranging new policies, renewals and mid-term adjustments
- Preparing reports, insurance documents and presentations
- Manage claims on behalf of your clients
- Maintain client records and data
- Develop a sales pipeline
- Grow a book of business with support from an Account Handler at an agreed level
- Identify Cross selling opportunities
- Negotiate and market to the client’s requirements, demands and needs
Essential for this role:
- Proven track record in sales (2 years)
- Experience of commercial insurance products
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent with Microsoft products
- Professional approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Motivated, eager and passionate in what you do
- Ability to manage your own time and workload
- Problem solving and analytic skills
- Driving Licence
- Flexible approach to the client’s needs
- Excellent customer service skills
Desirable:
- CII Qualification
- Experience on Applied and Acturis
