My client, is one of the UK's leading independent Planning and Development Consultancies, is looking for a Town Planner to join the dynamic team! Known for their expertise across a wide range of sectors - including residential, commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, and regeneration projects - the company supports developers, landowners, and public sector clients in navigating complex planning systems and delivering sustainable, high-impact developments.

The Role as a Town Planner:

As a Town Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic planning advice, navigating complex applications, and guiding landmark projects from concept to approval.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing planning applications, appeals, and development proposals across a wide range of sectors.
Preparing planning appraisals, feasibility studies, and policy reviews.
Conducting site visits, client meetings, and engagement with local authorities.
Building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and professionalism.
Leading on smaller projects while supporting senior planners on large-scale, complex schemes.What We're Looking for as a Town Planner:

RTPI accredited degree.
Previous years of planning experience.
Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - confident in preparing high-quality reports and presenting to clients and stakeholders.
