Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Manager to oversee our electrical service operations. The successful candidate will manage a team of qualified electricians, coordinate service and maintenance projects, and ensure that all electrical works comply with industry regulations and standards. You will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and supervision of electrical services, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day electrical service operations, including maintenance, repair, and installation work.
* Supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Coordinate and allocate resources for scheduled service contracts and emergency repairs.
* Liaise with clients, providing technical advice and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical systems across various projects.
* Prepare quotes, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Ensure compliance with electrical standards, building regulations, and company policies.
* Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and team performance.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as mechanical and HVAC, to provide integrated building services solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
* City & Guilds qualified or equivalent in Electrical Installation (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a building services or facilities management environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, including BS7671.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication and leadership skills
