Alecto Recruitment are partnering with an established company within the Anaerobic Digestion sector who are actively looking for an Operations Manager for their site in North Allerton. The Operations Manager will site operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and support the site operations team, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation.
* Manage daily plant activities, ensuring the anaerobic digestion process runs at peak performance.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations through effective implementation and maintenance.
* Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly to minimise downtime.
* Track and analyse plant performance data to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with maintenance teams to adhere to preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
* Develop and execute operational strategies to optimise processes and drive business growth.
* Maintain strong relationships with feedstock suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

Essential Requirements:
* Extensive experience in operations management within anaerobic digestion, waste management, or renewable energy.
* Deep understanding of anaerobic digestion processes and plant operations.
* Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams.
* Proactive problem-solving approach to operational challenges.
* In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Analytical mindset with expertise in performance monitoring and process optimisation.
* Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Desirable:
* Engineering, Environmental Science, or Process Management qualification.
* Experience with SCADA, process automation, and control systems.
* Resource planning experience.
* WAMITAB Qualification (Anaerobic Digestion)
