We are currently recruiting Senior Healthcare Assistants/Senior Support Workers for ongoing work across Hull (HU3). We are recruiting staff on a temporary to permanent basis where you will be on a probation period for 12 weeks before you move across permanently.

Role :-

* You will provide person centred support and care to people with support needs at our inter-generational extra care service in Hull. This includes providing respectful personal care, emotional and practical support with daily activities and living tasks. You will supervise staff and deploy staff time efficiently in line with service user needs and preferences

* You will collaborate with service users, families and involved professionals to maximise outcomes for service users

* You will assist senior staff in the coordination and operational management of the service to ensure that service user needs, preferences and contract requirements are met

We require :-

* At least two years’ experience in providing care and support to older people

* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (We do not offer sponsorship)

* Ability to provide 2 references (one from current or most recent employer)

* Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (Desirable)

* Supervisory experience and/or ability to supervise staff (Desirable)

Hours :-

Full time - 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly according to a rota and to include evenings, weekends and public holidays

Salary :-

Weekday: £14.90 per hour

Night/Weekend: £15.25 per hour
