Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a background in engineering/manufacturing looking to join an established engineering business? If yes, read on….
Our established client specialises in the stainless steel and metal fabrication industry. They are currently looking for a new Quality Engineer to join their small but established quality team. Commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Great Eccleston and Hambleton.
Duties Include - Quality Engineer
Collaborate with production and design teams to promote customer satisfaction across all employees on site.
Monitor and report Quality KPIs.
Respond proactively to customer complaints and questionnaires, resolving them in a timely manner and reporting on outcomes.
Work closely with the Design Team to resolve any production-related build issues.
Maintain and improve existing Quality Systems.
Conduct internal and supplier audits as needed.Key Skills / Experience Required - Quality Engineer
Experience within the Engineering Manufacturing / Sheet Metal Fabrication industry
Quality Trained with a good understanding of ISO9001:2015
Experience carrying out internal audits as per the ISO9001:2015 standard
Ability to establish Internal Quality Standards and meet customer expectations
Good understanding of WEEE, ROHS, REACH
Competent Problem Solving Skills
Excellent Oral, Written and computer skills.The Package - Quality Engineer
Starting salary of up to £40K per annum, depending on experience
Day Shifts Monday to Friday / Early finish Friday
