Supply Relationship Intelligence Analyst

Our client is looking for an experienced Supply Relationship Intelligence Analyst.

The Supply Relationship Intelligence Analyst primary job purpose is to:

* Collect and analyse supply chain data from internal and external stakeholders

* Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Shape a corporate contracts database register of live contractual information

* Classify contracts and spend from across a range of sources with stakeholder

* Coordinate returns of information in writing or by telephone as required

* Utilise technology and systems with impeccable levels of consistency/accuracy

* Enhance knowledge and understanding of supply chain data

* Produce publishable reports with recommendations on supply chain matters

* Develop with others strategies to increase organisational priority alignment

* Recommend improvements to decision makers on performance and cost

* Coordinate with professionals to implement changes and systems

* Identify and articulate important information, guidance and legislation

* Review and update guidance, forms and templates within agreed parameters

* Present and signpost on matters of governance within the remit of the role

* Understand assessment of costs balanced with quality and added value

* Utilise accounts payable information systems, including invoicing and ERP.

* Support the improvements in contract and supplier relationship management

* Pull relevant reports from relevant business activities for further analysis

* Log a range of supply chain information and project manage its progress

* Support any reasonable audit, retention or fraud matter with appropriate diligence

* Review, build and transfer documents to new SharePoint information architecture

Educated to degree level (or equivalent learning benchmarked on the Regulated Qualifications Framework for England and Northern Ireland level 5 or 6 descriptors as regulated by Ofqual) in an analytical, business, legal and/or supply chain related subject. Evidence of continuous professional development.

Experience of handling and collecting sensitive data from multiple different sources on a project basis; analysing, prioritising, interpreting and categorising data highlighting gaps and producing publishable evidence based reports.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITY

Ability to be creative within established data to form judgements and present large volumes of information in a consistent manner, with levels of repetition, assessing importance with a consideration of policy, guidance and legislation.

Ability to build positive verbal and written relationships with stakeholders, gathering complex commercial information and presenting findings which may directly impact service delivery and service users sensitively.

Ability to consider the broad range of applications and usage of data collected, ensuring consistency of formatting and highlighting when recommendations may significantly affect the Council, its partners, providers and service users.

Ability to shape the corporate contracts database register of live contractual information to enhance knowledge and understanding of supply chain data, considering relevant factors, supporting and signposting on governance issues.

Ability to utilise appropriate technology with exceptional proficiency and accuracy for the gathering, reviewing, assessment and presentation of data for any reasonable supply chain decision making or audit, retention or fraud matter.

Ability to adapt to frequently changing and conflicting priorities in the collection, inputting, scrutinising and dissemination of data to support aspects of the supply chain analysis, travelling, telephoning and meeting people as required.
