Are you an experienced Operations Manager with experience in freight looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and maintaining efficiency. Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals.
Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
Monitor and improve operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
Efficiently manage resources to meet operational requirements and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Foster excellent internal relationships with managers at all levels, promoting collaboration and understanding between departments.
Liaise with other departments to streamline operations and ensure seamless coordination.Requirements:

Experience in the freight forwarding industry with up to date knowledge of relevant legislation
Proven experience in supervising and leading teams, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach.
Knowledge of operations procedures and best practises, with a track record of implementing successful strategies.In return, our client offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. You will also enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
