We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Head of Year to join a vibrant secondary school in Doncaster. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an anticipated start date in September 2024.

About the Role:

As the Head of Year, you will play a crucial role in the pastoral care and academic achievement of students across the year group. You will be responsible for:

Leading and managing the year group: Overseeing student welfare, behaviour, and progress.
Working closely with teaching staff: Ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically.
Monitoring and supporting student attendance: Implementing strategies to improve attendance and punctuality.
Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies: Maintaining strong communication and partnerships to support student development.
