Plant Manager

Reports to: Area Asphalt Manager

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with all company and statutory Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, fostering best practices across the team.

* Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by providing top-tier service for both collections and deliveries.

* Oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of all assets to maximize productivity and manage costs within established budgets.

* Plan and implement both preventative and unplanned maintenance to ensure smooth site operations.

* Actively manage and motivate plant staff daily, emphasizing individual development through support and tailored training initiatives.

* Maintain comprehensive administrative records across various business areas, including Health, Safety, and Environment; Personnel; Sales; Procurement; Quality; and Energy Management.

Required Skills:

* Experience in quarry or coating plant operations.

* Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance programs.

* Skilled in IT systems, particularly SAP.

* Strong interpersonal, communication, and people management abilities.

* SHE NVQ Level 4 certification completed or in progress.

* Current and organized personal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) folder.
