Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional local SME who are seeking a Warehouse Assistant/ FLT driver to join their Daralastpon site on a temporary to permanent basis.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2.30pm.

You must have a UK driving licence as there will be occasional travel to a local head office of 3-4 times per month.

Duties and tasks will include:

Picking and packing customer orders
Checking and putting away deliveries
Controlling and organising stock, including participating in stock take
Operating a forklift truck
Loading/unloading of vehicles
Covering van driving duties as required
Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace
General warehouse duties
Possibly cross working at another site in WednesburyCandidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

Be reliable and responsible, with great attendance and timekeeping
Have a flexible approach to tasks undertaken
Have excellent standards and good attention to detail
Have great communication skills and work well in a team
Hold a valid FLT licence
Hold a full, clean driving licence
Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.Parking is available
