Our established Engineering contractor client is recruiting a skilled and dedicated Topographical & Setting Out Surveyor due to successfully winning several significant and ongoing projects. Their projects are focused in and around the M6 corridor and NW UK.

The Ideal Candidate Are you an experienced Setting Out Surveyor with a passion for civil engineering? We're seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:

Civil Engineering Experience: With at least 2 years of experience in setting out and surveying within the civil engineering industry, especially groundworks, earthworks, highways/ surfacing, deep drainage and kerbing.

Blueprint Comprehension: The ability to read and understand construction drawings.

As-Built Drawings: You'll need to be capable of producing as-built drawings to ensure the precision of our work.

Surveying Equipment: Proficiency with surveying equipment is key. This includes total stations and GPS.

Quality Assurance: A strong grasp of site QA paperwork will set you up for success in this role.

Candidate Requirements To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Driving License: A full UK driving license is a necessity for this position.
IT Literacy: Being IT-literate is crucial in this tech-driven industry.
Education: A strong educational background, ideally HNC/HND in a construction-related field or at least 5 GCSEs at grade C+ and 2 A-Levels at grade D+.
