Force Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Civils Site Manager to oversee the installation of HDPE pipes for a major infrastructure project based in Wolverhampton.
Job Title: Freelance Civil Site Manager
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract Type: Freelance/Contract
Duration: 6+ months
Start: October
Rate: £350 - £400/day dependant on experience and qualifications
Scope: HDPE pipe installation project
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, managing the installation of HDPE pipes.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections.
* Lead and coordinate the work of site staff and subcontractors.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
* Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
* Address any technical issues or unexpected challenges promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering projects, specifically with HDPE pipe installations.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
