Data Process Manager (Hybrid, very occasional office presence)

* Design and maintain automated processes to ensure ease and security of access to Snowflake

* Design and maintain automated processes to ensure transparent cost management and oversight of Snowflake

* Drive best practice for engineering on Snowflake, including code version control, CI/CD etc

* Lead a small team to administer and optimise Snowflake usage around the business

* Drive best practice for integrating to Snowflake particularly from Azure Data Factory

Skills

* Strong experience with Snowflake engineering (SQL scripting DDL and DML, task orchestration, integration management)

* Strong experience with Snowflake administration (RBAC, warehouse provision, cost management, time-travel, disaster recovery)

* Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Dev Ops (ETL orchestration, Git integration, CI/CD)

* Experience working in an Agile environment, utilising methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban/BDD/TDD

* Enthusiasm for maintaining and providing a best-in-class data platform to the business.
