Damicor are actively recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to start work at Gatwick Airport.

We have an amazing opportunity right now to join our Service department based in the Gatwick region- covering customers such as Gatwick Airport, and now and again Southampton International Airport, Bournemouth Airport.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, committed to sharing knowledge and helping each other succeed.

Your role involves troubleshooting, servicing, installing, and repairing Trace and X-Ray equipment at customer sites specifically, Gatwick, Bournemouth & Southampton, ensuring first class customer satisfaction.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work involved, we can only consider applicants that are eligible for the UK security clearance, sponsorship is not available.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction

* Install, repair, and maintain Trace and X-Ray equipment in the field; provide customer training as needed.

* Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work promptly.

* Manage repair parts cycle time, order, install, and return parts efficiently.

* Review logs for open issues, prepare formal reports to customers.

* Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment.

* Provide technical support to customers and peers.

* Participate in site surveys, pilot programs, special projects, and meetings.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

About You

* Level 3 Engineering qualification (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or equivalent work experience (NVQ Level 3)

* Holding a full UK driving licence would be preferable.
