We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician to join our team at the Chatham site.

About the Role

As a Vehicle Paint Technician with Steer, you will work on a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking.

* Mixing paint to match vehicle colours and applying it using spray guns and other equipment.

* Running the spray booth efficiently.

* Ensuring all paintwork meets high-quality standards and customer specifications.

* Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and achieve exceptional results.

* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all health and safety procedures.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Paint Technician, ideally from an accident repair background. You will also have:

* Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials.

* The ability to use paint mixing equipment and spray guns effectively.

* A good understanding of the accident repair industry.

* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Ideally, an ATA/NVQ qualification (we can support renewal if needed).
