The Company

* My client is a successful M&E manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Buyer.

The Role

* Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional procurement outcomes? Do you excel in managing supplier relationships and sourcing high-quality products and services? If you're ready to play a pivotal role in supporting manufacturing in the UK, we want to hear from you!

* We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Buyer with a minimum of two years' experience in a buying or procurement role. You’ll be used to sourcing products and services and negotiating prices from as well as raising purchase orders for multiple vendors.

* Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you’ll be responsible for managing a variety of products and services. placing orders to agreed target costs, and supporting the team in delivering on time and in budget. You’ll have the opportunity to work on process improvement, sourcing and negotiating contracts with new suppliers and contribute to the company's ongoing success.

The Candidate

* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Buyer in a procurement or buying role

* Purchasing qualification or CIPS would be advantageous

* Experience in supplier management and contract negotiation preferable

* Strong negotiation and communication skills

* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

* A proactive, problem-solving mindset
